Marengo

The most important aspects of this house were its original ones: a flowing and open floor plan, clouded pattern-glass entry doors, interior and exterior accent walls of synthetic brick (thank God for the 60s), etc.

As the construction and design progressed we realized that the unifying stylistic element was Pattern: floors, tiling, backsplash and even the staging furniture were selected accordingly. If this house were a painting it would probably be a Vuillard.
